This week, our featured fundraisers are a group of Celtic supporters from Celtic Quick News who are remembering Reamonn Gormley.
19 year old Reamonn was tragically murdered in Blantyre on Tuesday 1st February while on his way home after watching Celtic vs. Aberdeen at a local pub.
Before setting off to University, Reamonn travelled to Thailand and taught English at the Good Child Foundation (See photo above). This charity has the only school offering placements to children of all ages and abilities including pupils with Downs Syndrome.
At the time of print, his fundraising page has raised £14,812.01 in just 7 days, thanks to kind donations from 558 people that want to help to remember Reamonn.
All monies will be donated to the Good Child Foundation via the Celtic Charity Fund, on behalf of the Celtic support and in memory of the young man. Ami Smith was in Reamonn’s class at John Ogilvie High School in Hamilton.
Ami, 19, said: “He was the loveliest guy. Reamonn never had any enemies, he was friends with everyone.”

Absolutely tragic this guy’s life has been taken. Another decent member of society fallen victim to the dregs of it. Good that Reamonn will be never be forgooten for the good he done. RIP.
