Washington School raises over £2k in 12 months

Everyclick can provide a really useful source of no cost income for Schools. We have over 2,000 Schools, Colleges and Universities registered with more joining every week.

We just wanted to share one really inspirational example of a school that has got behind Everyclick with pretty spectacular results. This quote, from Washington School Business Manager Tina Hannant, speaks for itself:

‘It was late June last year when we signed up with I saw an article on it via the ‘Fundraising for Schools’ publication. Initially I thought it seemed too good to be true, but I thought it was well worth a try.

The process was very simple in order to get registered and set up. I worked with our Network Manager in school, and we set up every staff and student PC in school with our Everyclick home page as the default page when logging onto the internet. I publicised the site to staff, students, parents and school governors. I even encouraged my family and friends to use it to support our school. I have displayed posters around the school, and provide regular updates in our school newsletter.

To date we have raised £2042 (within 12 months), which in our view is an enormous success. The funds are going into our school fund at present, and will be used to fund some new resources for our new school, which we move into in August 2009. The resources have not yet been chosen, but I would like to involve the students via the school council in making the choice, as it’s the students who have helped us achieve this level of fundraising.’
